CHL Netherlands B.V. (CHL) develops, designs and builds a variety of high performance radar antenna systems to customer specifications.
CHL radar antenna systems are renowned for their outstanding performance and long life span. Some of the systems supplied have been in use for over 50 years.
An important feature of the systems is their strength. A number of antenna system types can even stay operational during hurricanes.
Options like frequency diversity, pressurization and integrated lightning protection are available depending on the radar antenna system type. Next to the radar antennas themselves, we manufacture turning units and rotary joints.
Our antenna turning units are characterised by an extremely low noise level combined with high reliability.

CHL radar antenna systems are used for a variety of applications:

Vessel traffic management systems (VTS) at harbours, waterways and along the coast;
Ground aircraft traffic control (SMR) at airports;
Detection of birds, oil-spill and drones.
